The Rev. Trent Williams, our Executive Pastor, delivers a message reflecting on James 1:17-27, titled “Give Generously" on the Twenty-First Sunday after Pentecost.

 

A brief synopsis:

The nature of giving is an essential aspect of God's character and the human experience. Every generous act of giving originates from God. True religion, according to James, is expressed in actions like caring for the needy and living justly. We reflect on examples of meaningful gifts—both tangible and intangible—and how these acts of generosity reflect divine love. We are encouraged to see life itself as a gift and participate in spreading justice, joy, and peace.
